Let the numbers be x and y.

As per the question -

xy = 336….(1)

x+y -(x-y) = 28…(2)

x + y - x + y = 28

2y = 28

y = 14

Putting the value of y in equation (1) -

xy = 336

x*14 = 336

x = 336/14

x = 24

So the numbers are 24 and 14.

So the correct answer is option B.
