Time = Distance/Speed

Time = x+20/14….(2)

The time taken by the person to travel both distances is the same. Then -

x/10 = x+20/14

14x = 10x+200

4x = 200

x = 200/4

x = 50 km

Hence the actual distance traveled by him is 50 km.
