Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2020)

For Patwari

• Minimum Age: 21 Years

• Maximum Age: 28 Years

For Lekhpal

• Minimum Age: 21 Years

• Maximum Age: 35 Years

Physical Exam for Patwari and Lekhpal

Physical Measurement :

A relaxation of 5 cm will be admissible to the candidates of hill origin in height. A relaxation of 5 cm will be admissible to the candidates of hill origin in the chest. 

Physical Efficiency Test for Patwari :

Male candidates will be required to run 07 km in 60 minutes and female candidates 3.5 km in 35 minutes.

Physical Efficiency Test for Lekhpal:

Male candidates will be required to run 09 km in 60 minutes and female candidates 4.5 km in 35 minutes.

Uttarakhand Patwari, Lekhpal Exam Pattern 2021

• Type of Exam: The written test will be of objective type.
• Total Marks: The question paper will be 100 questions.
• Exam Duration: The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
• It will have questions related to General Hindi General Knowledge General Studies
• 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. 
• Negative marking: 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The minimum qualifying marks are -

For General and OBC - 45%

For SC/ST - 35%

Questions will also be included towards a scientist's sight and thinking which is expected from an educated person. So, candidates should focus on affairs about India and its adjacent countries too. Scientific Progress/Development, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Athlete such as essential knowledge.
