Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any recognized university.
• Candidates must have a post-graduation diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of the institute of planner / American institute of town/institute of town planner or institute of town planner India for the post of Sahayak Nagar Niyojak.
• Candidates need to have graduation with Hindi subject to be eligible to apply for the post of District information officer / Feature writer.

Physical Standards

The candidate looking for the post of Superintendent of police or district commandant home guard through the Uttarakhand PCS 2020 exam needs to fulfill the following physical parameters.

For Superintendent of police

Height

Chest Measurement (For Male Candidates only)

Note: For female candidates, the weight should be equal to more than 45 KG.

For District Commandant Home Guard

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age:  42 Years

UKPSC Exam Pattern

UKPSC Combined State Civil Services Exam have three stages which are:

• Preliminary Exam
• Main Exam
• Personality Test

UKPSC Preliminary Exam Pattern (Objective Type)

Preliminary Exam (Objective type)

Mode of Exam: Offline

Type of Questions: Objective Type multiple-choice questions will be asked.

Subjects: General Studies and General Aptitude

Number of Questions: 250 (150 for General Studies and 100 for General Aptitude)

Maximum Marks: 300 (150 for each subject)

Duration of Exam: 4 Hours (2 Hours for each subject)

Notes: There will be negative marking for each wrong answer which will be ¼ of marks of questions i.e. 0.25.

UKPSC Main Exam Pattern (Subjective Type)

UKPSC State Civil Services Main Exam will be conducted in Haldwani and Haridwar centers only.
