Bihar police SI selection process consist of three stages. Each of these stages will be qualifying in nature. The selection process is as follows -

• Prelims Exam
• Mains Exam
• Physical Efficiency Test

Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern 2020:

The examination will be conducted in two phases i.e. prelims and mains exam. The Bihar Police SI exam pattern for each of them is as follows.

1. Preliminary Examination

The prelims exam will consist of two subjects namely General Knowledge and Current events. Below is the detailed Bihar Police SI Prelims exam pattern:

• Prelims exam of Bihar Police SI is qualifying in nature
• You have to score minimum 30% marks in the exam, else you will get disqualified.
• Mode of Exam: Online
• Duration: 2 hours
• No. of Questions: 100 questions
• Type of Questions: Objectives (MCQ) type only.
• Marking Scheme: Every right answer will be given 2 marks each. For every wrong answer 0.2 mark will be deducted from total marks scored.

1. Mains Examination

The candidates clearing the prelims exam will be facing the mains examination. The mains exam will consist of two papers namely Paper I and Paper II. The mains exam pattern is as given below.

• Mode of Exam: Online 
• Duration: Both papers will be of 2 hours each.
• No. of Questions: 100 questions in each paper
• Type of Questions: Objective (MCQ) type only.
• Marking Scheme: Every right answer will be given 2 marks each. For every wrong answer 0.2 mark will be deducted from total marks scored.
