RRB Junior Engineer (JE):

The Railways Recruitment Board conducts the RRB JE Exam in order to recruit candidates with science and engineering backgrounds to fill in the various technical posts available in the Indian Railways. Interested and Eligible candidates can apply online for the RRB JE exam through the official website  http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria for RRB JE:

Education Qualification: 

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university.

RRB JE Document Verification (DV):

 All the candidates qualified in the RRB JE CBT-2 will be called for their original document verification. The original document of the candidates is verified in accordance with the claims made in the RRB JE online application form. In case of any discrepancy found during the DV Stage, the candidature of the candidate stands canceled.

Medical Standards for RRB JE:

Candidates called for Document Verification will have to pass a requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s) opted by them. Visual Acuity Standard is one of the important criteria of the medical fitness of railway staff. The medical requirements against different Medical Standards for different categories are outlined below:

Pay Scale of RRB Junior Engineer (JE) after the 7th Pay Commission:
