Candidates will have to secure the minimum qualifying marks in each of the sections (LIC AAO sectional cutoff) as well as the overall minimum qualifying marks (LIC AAO overall cutoff) in order to appear for the next round, that is the Personal Interview round. It is also important to note that the descriptive paper will be evaluated only if the candidate clears the objective test.
Final selection will be made based on merit that is, based on the marks secured by the candidates in the Main Exam and Personal Interview. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be about three times the number of vacancies.
In the case of two or more candidates securing the same aggregate marks, the candidate with the higher educational qualification will be given preference. If the tie still persists, the candidate older in age will be given preference.
Selected candidates will first have to undergo a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination as well as Document Verification. If they are found medically fit and their documents are found in order, they will be appointed as Assistant Administrative Officers (AAOs).
