Educational Qualifications:

A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.

Age limit:

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 30 years

IBPS RRB Officers (Scale-1) 2019 Salary

Approximate salary of RRB Officer (Scale 1) is 33000 - 37000 and it may vary from bank to bank. And other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time.

Interview process for IBPS RRB officer scale-I

Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for the post of officer scale I will be called for interview.

The total marks for interview is 100. The minimum marks required to crack the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates)

The final score will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in the online mains examination and interview.

       

Local language proficiency

  • Candidates who have already studied the language of the state in standard –vii in government recognized boards of education would be considered proficient in that language.
  •  
  • If the candidate does not fulfill the above criteria then he/she will be given a time period of six months from the date of joining to learn local language proficiency.
  •  
  • Six months can be extended by the boards of RRB and such extension shall not be beyond the extension period.
