SSC JHT 2020 Selection Process:

The selection process of SSC JHT has 3 stages namely:

  • SSC JHT Paper-I
  • SSC JHT Paper-II
  • Document Verification

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II of the examination only. Candidates who clear the Paper 1, will be called for the Paper-2 exam, thereafter, candidates will be called for Document Verification. Allocation of candidates will be made to User Departments depending upon their merit position and the option exercised by them.

  • A negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable for Paper 1.
  • Paper 2 will be evaluated only after attaining minimum qualifying marks in Paper 1.
  • Based on the performance in Paper-I+Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification.
  • Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:(i) UR: 30%(ii) OBC/ EWS: 25%(iii) Others: 20

SSC JHT House Rent Allowance:

The House rent allowance (HRA) will depend upon your posting center. The minimum entitled HRA for Class X, Y, and Z cities is Rs. 5400/- Per month, Rs. 3600/- per month and Rs.1800/- per month respectively. The HRA would be of the Basic pay for X, Y, and Z class cities respectively.
